The Path of Ascent

Within each man and woman sits a God, potential as yet but everlasting. As they go through the experiences of what we call life, they make a journey, which in the end turns out to have been a step towards oneness with that God, realizing the fact of its divinity, realizing that it is the Soul, our higher Self.

Heretofore, our knowledge of the Soul has come from religious texts. These have left man with the impression that the Soul is distant from himself, something to be recognized and worshipped from afar. As man progresses, however, he comes to understand that the Soul is himself, a higher and purer part of himself, but nevertheless himself. Thus a man progresses, deepening in knowledge of his true being and purpose.

Today, thousands of people are consciously aware of making such a journey; for them life is deepening in meaning, and they search for greater knowledge and experience. Thus, in time, they turn to meditation and through this practice a great discovery is theirs. Step by step, they know for certain that they are Souls, that the Soul is not some distant idea but their very being. Gradually the tempo of their lives changes, and a deeper meaning and purpose consolidates all that they do. Thus do men advance on the journey to perfection, reflecting more and more the divinity and wisdom of the Soul.

All in their own way make such a journey, some swiftly and eagerly, others more slowly and less sure of the path. But all eventually pass through the various gates which mark their progress on the way. Today this journey is trodden by millions who know not that the path exists but nevertheless answer the call of their Soul, and enter thereon. They sense the needs of the time and seek to meet these needs, and so play their part.

Knowingly or not they are responding to the call from Maitreya through their Souls to enter the fray, and to replenish this world with their ardour and courage. Their efforts, they will find, have not been in vain.

A blueprint for sharing

When men consider the principle of sharing, they almost always see it in personal terms. They visualize a situation in which they, personally, will be expected to give away considerable sums of money to far-off people whom they do not know, nor care to know. In fact, the principle of sharing can only be organized as a global process.

There are several ways in which this could be achieved, either partially or totally. We, your Elder Brothers, consider that the following is the most practical, the simplest and fairest method of all, one which, if adopted, would satisfy the greatest number. Each nation, We suggest, would be asked to make an inventory of all their resources and needs, what they produce themselves and what they are obliged to import. Then, each nation would be asked to put into a common pool that which they have in excess of their needs, forming a huge international resource from which all could draw. Naturally, the large developed nations would give a greater amount but all would donate their un-needed surplus. This scheme appeals to us for its simplicity and fairness; it would, of course, take time to implement, but We foresee a time when it can be accomplished.

Many are the trained organizers and administrators for whom this work would provide a welcome service to the world. All would proceed under the aegis of a Master or at least a third-degree initiate, to safeguard the trust of all. Thus, at a stroke the curse of poverty and want would be ended. The hearts and lives of countless millions would be lifted into joy, and those who shared for the first time would find a happiness deep and satisfying, which perhaps, they were afraid to know.

In this way only would be engendered the trust essential for the ending of war and terrorism. Without such trust there will never be peace. Without peace the future for mankind would be bleak indeed. Therefore, some form of sharing is essential if we are to survive. When the majority of men realize this, the major problems of the world can be solved.

The principle of sharing is beginning to enter the minds of many groups throughout the world. Bit by bit men inch their way to this conclusion. Maitreya reminds all who hear Him that sharing alone provides the solution to our troubles. Thus, as the weeks and months go by, men can be seen to grapple with their problems, and more and more find sharing to be the key to their future.

Maitreya the World Teacher steps forward

Maitreya, the World Teacher, has been based in the Asian community of London since July 1977, gradually emerging into full public view.

Artist, author and lecturer Benjamin Creme has for over 35 years been preparing the way for this extraordinary event.

In December 2008 Benjamin Creme announced that in the very near future a large, bright star would appear in the sky visible throughout the world, night and day, heralding the imminent appearance of Maitreya in His first interview on a major US television programme.

Within weeks reports from all over the world of an unusually bright star, often moving and changing colour, began to appear in the media and on YouTube.

On 14 January 2010 Benjamin Creme announced that Maitreya had given His first interview, on American television, and that millions had heard Him speak both on television and the internet.

Benjamin Creme explained: “He was introduced not as Maitreya, the World Teacher and Head of our Spiritual Hierarchy, but simply as a man, one of us. In this way He ‘ensures that men follow and support Him for the truth and sanity of His ideas rather than for His status’. He spoke earnestly of the need for peace, achievable only through the creation of justice and the sharing of the world’s resources.”

Spiral light over Norway

The enormous, spiral light with its glowing centre, seen over Norway on 9 December 2009, has excited and baffled thousands of Norwegians including astronomical experts. What does it mean?

On 12 December 2008 Share International Foundation announced that a large, bright ‘star’-like object would soon be seen in the sky. It is a sign heralding the imminent appearance of Maitreya, the World Teacher, on His first television interview, which will take place in the USA.

The ‘star’ is really one of four enormous spacecraft placed around the world. Since December 2008 numerous sightings of the ‘star’ have been reported on YouTube and television news programmes. Share International magazine has received hundreds of photographs showing the ‘star’ in a variety of stunning colours and shapes.

The huge spiral manifestation over Norway is an extension of the work of these spacecraft and is irrefutable evidence of their reality. Our information is that further such manifestations are planned for the near future.

Maitreya
